Special Issue 'Experimental Studies of Mesocopic Thermodynamics' - Entropy

We invite submissions on a broad range of topics, including experimental studies of fluctuation relations, micro-engines, heat transport and information thermodynamics. Both theoretical and experimental studies of advanced techniques including bath engineering, statistical analysis of noisy systems, and physical analogues of noisy biological systems are very welcome. Finally, we invite proposals on realistic and novel methods to study the thermodynamics of quantum systems.

College on Energy Transport and Energy Conversion in the Quantum Regime

The activity consists of a 2-weeks school followed by a workshop. A limited number of grants are available to support the attendance of selected participants, with priority given to participants from developing countries. There is no registration fee. During the workshop, alongside the invited talks, there are a few slots for contributed oral presentations and we will ask some selected participants to present a talk rather than a poster.
