Frontiers in Non-equilibrium Physics 2024
July 1, 2024 - Aug. 2, 2024 , Yukawa Institute for Theoretical Physics, Kyoto University, Japan

We are organizing a long-term workshop focusing on non-equilibrium physics. The second and third weeks will be dedicated to topics related to stochastic and quantum thermodynamics. The fourth week will focus on active matter, non-reciprocal transitions, and the Mpemba effect. The fifth week will concentrate on the jamming and rheology of dense materials. We look forward to your participation!

Winter school on ultrafast thermodynamics
Feb. 19, 2024 - Feb. 23, 2024 , Chalmers, Gothenburg, Sweden

We're organizing a one-week winter school in condensed matter physics, focusing on ultrafast thermodynamics. This event bridges ultrafast dynamics in quantum materials with nonequilibrium statistical physics. The program is designed for PhD students, advanced Master's students, and PostDocs. Participants will explore cutting-edge theoretical and experimental methods, gaining a comprehensive understanding of this emerging research area.
