Quantum Energy Initiative Workshop 2025 (QEI2025)
Jan. 6, 2025 - Jan. 10, 2025 , Grenoble, France

The Quantum Energy Initiative is fostering a worldwide community of experts willing to develop scientific approaches to evaluating and minimize the physical resource cost of emerging quantum technologies. This workshop will bring together researchers from a broad range of expertise: fundamental quantum physics to enabling technologies, from quantum hardware to quantum algorithms, from research to industry. Call for contributed talks from now to 1 Oct 2024.

Quantum Carnot
Nov. 25, 2024 - Nov. 27, 2024 , Dijon, France (and online as well)

This workshop aims to gather ”regional” (France and neighbours) reseachers working on quantum thermodynamics and open quantum systems. This is also the occasion to celebrate the 200 years of the publication of the famous book ”Reflections on the motive power of fire” of Sadi Carnot, which gave birth to Thermodynamics (remembering that Dijon and its region (Burgundy) is the home town of the Carnot family, where the workshop will take place).

One-week school: Quantum thermodynamics meets quantum transport
Nov. 11, 2024 - Nov. 15, 2024 , Chalmers, Gothenburg, Sweden

We organize a school on quantum thermodynamics at the interface with quantum transport. There will be lectures on the basics of quantum thermodynamics in the context of quantum transport, on quantum batteries and on quantum resource theories. These topics are essential to understand the fundamental components of the energy consumption of quantum devices. A list of lecturers, the featured topics and more information to register can be found on the website above.
