QTD2023: Quantum Thermodynamics Conference 2023

We are pleased to announce that a team of quantum researchers from the group of Marcus Huber in Vienna have agreed to organise QTD2023. The dates are now fixed, 17-23 July 2023, and the event will be in person with a hybrid option. Please put the dates in your diary. Quantum Thermodynamics conference (QTD2023)

QTD 2023 is the annual conference on quantum thermodynamics being held in person for the first time in two years in Vienna, Austria. The main goal of the conference is to discuss the recent advances in quantum thermodynamics, the field that studies thermodynamic processes at the quantum scale. Quantum metrology in interacting and open systems
Feb. 11, 2023 - Feb. 16, 2023 , Les Diablerets (Switzerland)

In this workshop we aim at exploring new opportunities and challenges arising from the presence of interactions and dissipation in quantum sensors. Relevant directions that will be covered include: Quantum metrology in presence of noise, quantum thermometry, and quantum critical metrology. The conference fee is 300 CHF, which covers full-board accommodation (travel costs are not included in the conference fee). A selection of participants will be made based on the contributions.

Quantum resources: from mathematical foundations to operational characterisation

Quantum Energy Initiative
