Post-doctoral researcher position on theoretical condensed matter physics
March 1, 2023 - April 30, 2023 , San Sebastián, Spain

The postdoctoral researcher would work on a collaborative project between the groups of Sebastian Bergeret (MPC San Sebastián, fs.bergeret@csic.es) and Tero Heikkilä (Univ. Jyväskylä, tero.t.heikkila@jyu.fi). The project focuses on dynamic response and spin and heat transport in nonconventional and low-dimensional superconductors, including stochastic effects in the classical and quantum limits. It will also provide theoretical support for the experimental activities of MPC and CIC-Nangune.

MSc, PhD, and Post-doc in Open Quantum Systems and Thermodynamics
Feb. 1, 2022 , Technion, Israel

I am pleased to announce open positions for highly motivated researchers in quantum heat engines, non-equilibrium systems, quantum thermodynamics and open quantum systems. There are open positions for MSc, PhD, and Post-doc in our group at the Technion, Israel. For more information, please visit www.dgklab.com or contact me directly (dgelbi@technion.ac.il)

M.Sc. and Ph.D. in Open Quantum Systems & Thermodynamics
Jan. 1, 2022 , Technion, Israel

Fully funded Master/PhD positions are available at the Gelbwaser-Klimovsky group. Some of the questions we are exploring are: Are quantum and classical heat machines fundamentally different? Why do systems strongly interacting with their surroundings act as if they were completely decoupled? What are the thermodynamic properties of systems that break standard assumptions such as local detailed balance? For more information, visit www.dgklab.com or contact David dgelbi@technion.ac.il
